About the artist...Jerry Solomon  Jerry has worked in diverse environments, pursuing creativity in various art forms. As a recording engineer in Manhattan recording many well known artist and later searing steaks as a chef in his own little spot on East 56th street. Jerry went from snakeskin boots and chef whites to corporate suits, running the dining service for Good Housekeeping Magazine and the media powerhouse Hearst Corporation, in the world of celebrities and magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, and Cosmo, with a guest list of stars and notables. Jerry liked to say “there’s no difference between recording, cooking or painting – it’s all about ‘the mix’Jerry’s passion for art has been evident for many years, working in oils, assembling unique water sculptures, and most recently expanding into digital painting on his own photographs, all while writing and publishing his lifestyle book: “A Man’s Guide To Food As Foreplay.” He has been living in Southern California since 2004, with his wife, Veda.
